I’m sure we share a common frustration. We need an answer to a reasonably obscure problem, and it appears the only solution available requires a membership at Experts Exchange. It used to not be a problem; it was possible to trick EE into thinking the browser was Google’s bot and get that much needed solution. Then that little “fix” seemed to stop working, and purchasing a membership isn’t an option. The last thing I need is another monthly bill. I was going to sign up for the free seven day trial, but I found a link titled “Think you’re an expert?”
The folks at EE realize they couldn’t ask people to pay a monthly fee to answer questions; so experts get a free ride as long as they earn a certain amount of points each month (points are earned by answering questions). It’s a good (and easy) deal. My only problem is that I’m addicted to Experts Exchange now. I spend far too much time at the site than I should, but at least some folks are getting answers to their JavaScript and ASP.NET questions.
If you want free access to Experts Exchange, sign up as an expert and start answering questions!
