I apologize for the apparent lack of updates over the past 8 months, but I’ve had some good reasons… really!

First, I no longer work for Midland ISD, and I haven't since June 30th. I now work for Midland County, and I love it. I started out as a computer tech, and now I work more as a DBA (scary), Webmaster (please don't judge me by the county's current site. It's not my work!), AS400 semi-admin (I'm a-learnin'), and network/software support. It's a busy job, but I do enjoy it. Work ought to be something you enjoy going to. After all, you spend forty hours a week there… I'm ever thankful that God blessed me with it.

Even bigger news is that my wife, Starla, is pregnant! She's due in early April, but it looks like our son, Hayden, will be born in mid-March. Time is steadily marching towards that big day, and we're scared! It's a huge responsibility, and there's moments where we both think "What in the world did we do?!" But we're excited and eagerly await the day the little one's born.

Anyhow, I'm still alive and kicking; I just haven't had much time to keep this site up and code anything new.
