Back Up and Running... Sorta

I'm not even close to getting the site finished, but I felt that I needed to get something up and presentable. It's not much, but it'll do for now. I built this little mini-site with the ASP.NET 2.0 AJAX Extensions in about 20 minutes (slick, eh?). I'm debating on whether or not I want to keep using the extensions; using them makes life easier, but at the same time, I'm a JavaScript developer and author. I feel I should use my own code. I'm still mulling it over in my head.

I ended up switching hosts to DailyRazor.com. I've been at odds with my old host; they wouldn't offer features that I wanted (simple things like ASP.NET 2.0). When they finally offered them, it was stated that they were moving servers, and I would have to backup and transfer all my stuff (database included). Well if I was going to do that, I thought I should look for greener pastures. DR has been great so far. They even installed the ASP.NET 2.0 AJAX Extensions at my request.

Anyhow, the site's going to be a work in progress. This is basically what I have in mind, but more fluff is coming.

And oh yeah, Professional Ajax, Second Edition is on store shelves. If you liked the first edition, you'll love the second.
