Audioslave released their first single from their upcoming album “Revelations” earlier this week. The song’s called Original Fire (you can listen to the track from their site), and at first listen, I couldn’t stand it. Of course, I joined on the Audioslave bandwagon when Rage Against the Machine split; so anything that deviates from that style of riffage takes a while to get to me.

I’ve listened to the track a couple of times now, and it’s grown on me. I can’t really imagine adding it to my playlist, but I’m looking forward to the album’s release in early September. I need something new, and hopefully I can find something from the album.

Oh! And I got my Mac in on Tuesday. I’m working on a little write-up on that, as well. Maybe I’ll get it finished this weekend (other things are taking up my time).
