<selfBashing>Have you ever been asked to explain something, especially something you know quite well (because you wrote it)?

I'm not a speaker; in fact, I'm quite shy, quiet, and I generally don't share much. I bet you're looking at the plethora of blog posts and saying, "Hahaha! Whatever, dude!" ;)

To reiterate my point, I'm not a speaker, and against my better judgement, I thought I could easily explain this bit of code. But man! I took the absolute worst approach (line by line) without giving any sort of detail on the design decisions I made. Dee dee dee!

This is one reason I like writing. I can take a block of code and take as much time as I need to construct my approach of the explaination of said code. I'm horrible, and let me emphasize horrible, at replying verbally to verbal questions I have to answer on the spot.

In hindsight, I should've written my response to the question I knew was going to come, but I didn't. I figured "Hey, I spent my time writing it; I can explain it fine." Heh. Yeah. I feel sorry for the guys who had to listen to me. Note to self: re-take speech (and be a little more prepared).</selfBashing>
