Wow. It's been over a month since I blogged about anything; and what a month is has been. We're still unpacking stuff, and there's still a few pieces of furniture that need an overhaul. I'm slowly working on those. We caught 3 rodents since moving in and haven't seen any in over a week. One of the little beasts gnawed through a dress Starla bought during our honeymoon. Starla has such a love for animals, but all love was set aside when she saw her dress. Sticky traps for the win!

Two of our high school friends got married (to each other). They started dating when Starla and I started. All I gotta say is "It's about time". 'Grats to Shay and Kelly.

I'm now sporting some new hardware. It took some convincing, but I was able to buy a MSI K8N Neo2 Platinum and an AMD Athlon64 3000+. I'm still running on DDR333 modules, so I'm not seeing the full benefits of having an onchip memory controller. Next month I'll be getting 2gigs of DDR400 (I can't wait), and sometime soon I'll need to buy a sound card. The onboard sound of the Neo2 Platinum is less than satisfactory (too bad SoundStorm was taken out of nForce3+; but I understand nVidia wanted a single chip solution). I'm pleased with the rig right now, but I can't wait to get it running on DDR400.

With the new acquisition of parts, I was able to rebuild my server (I've been without it since the move); so I'm going to be able to really dig down and get some work done on all my projects (I've got waaay too many).

Anyhow, that's essentially my month. Since it's April, I'm looking forward to May (Episode 3, baby!). I bought Labyrinth of Evil and the Episode 3 book yesterday. I'll have them finished long before May 19th. Have a great month! (Hopefully I'll wrote before then)
