Asus released their
A8N-SLI Deluxe on Wednesday. This is the chipset (nForce4) that I've been waiting for, and it's finally headed to shelves (hopefully. good 'ol paper launch for the time being).

Now is the time that I get to start putting back money for a board (probably the A8N-SLI), CPU, RAM, SATA HDD, and video card (something NV4x based). To save money, I wouldn't mind seeing a nForce4 board with a 754 socket, but I doubt anything like that would sport SLI. One of the big questions is "Do I really need SLI?" No, not really, but it allow for a nice, quick video upgrade sometime in the future (upgrade from one 6800GT to 2 6800GTs!).
I can't wait. If I had it my way, I'd put my entire paycheck in the bank to "save". Hahahaha I can dream.
