I am a subscriber to FilePlanet. I subscribed during E3 so that I could get all the videos I wanted without having to wait in those long lines (nice big vids of Halo 2 and Half Life 2 ... yummy). I recently found out that FP subscribers will get in on the last week of the Tribes: Vengeance closed beta. Sweeeeeet!

I find myself waiting for the download like I did for the UT2003 demo and the JK2 SDK. I checked the news sites and forums every 2 hours (yes, I'm that pathetic) in hopes that I could finally get my hands those precious files. I want this beta.... now.

I was really hoping for a release on Friday (give us the weekend to play play play); so now I'm hoping for a Monday release. I wish they'd give us a release date, but I understand why they're not. They want to squash all the major bugs before the open beta. I can respect that. I hated the first few months of Tribes 2. Too many bugs and too many gameplay changes. I know it's beta, and there will be bugs, but I don't want any huge gamebreaking bugs to limit my game time.

Come on, FP. Show me the beta.
