It has been a few weeks since I started the rewrite of the MouseMenu. While new code is complete, I’ve decided to take a little turn with this widget. I will be combining the MouseMenu and the XWeb Menu to become one menu system (thanks, Foo, exactly what I need: more work <chuckle />).

The way the menu behaves will be decided upon settings in XML or through the API. I am not expecting a huge amount of code to be added, but the size will grow a bit. I am thinking of streamlining a few objects so that I can cut down on the event code. I want this to take up as little space as possible.

I should have the code finished either Monday or Tuesday, and I’ll start work on the documentation. I’m planning on a weekend release. I've got a new design coming down the pipe, and I want to do it simultaneously; so it may be sometime next week.
